#068 - Apis Parvus
This gorgeous pearwood bowl is named after the Latin translation for tiny bee. Inspired by the shape of a classic wicker beehive of days past, this small accent piece was rough turned before being allowed to dry. After nearly a year it was remounted on the lathe and five equally spaced beads were turned on the outer surface to mimic the shape and look of a classic hive. Sanded to a 2000 grit and finished with a natural oil and beeswax finish, it’s equally as well suited for a desk as it is the kitchen. 4”W x 2.75”He
